Manage Your Exhibits
You can now create and organize the exhibits you plan on introducing in your Deposition in three ways:
From the Exhibits tab on the Case Details page,
From the Exhibits tab on the Deposition Details page, or
From the source tag on your Deposition Outline from the Prep Workspace tab
From Case Details
First, click on the desired Case from your list.
Then, select Exhibits.
From here, you can either create an exhibit from a single document or bulk upload multiple documents instead.
Alternatively, you click on any Deposition and then access the Exhibits tab from there.
Create Exhibit
Once you’re on the Exhibits tab, click Create Exhibit to add or upload a single document.
You’ll then see a pop-up window where you can select a file from the Case documents or add a new file from your computer.
Once you’ve selected an existing document or uploaded a new one, you’ll enter the requested information, including the Deposition for which you’re creating the exhibit, and click Create Exhibit.
Your new Exhibit will now be listed on the Exhibits tab. You can view the document by clicking on the “eye” button, download a copy, or delete it with the “trash can” button.
Bulk Upload Exhibits
For multiple documents, use Bulk Upload instead to add your exhibits all at once.
First, click Bulk Upload, select the relevant Deposition, then select either Upload Files or From Case Documents.
If you select Upload Files, you’ll add multiple documents from your computer and click “Upload X Files” to add them as Exhibits.
If you select From Case Documents, you’ll choose which files (that were previously uploaded to the Case) you’d like to designate as exhibits, and then click Create X Exhibits.
You’ll then see a confirmation window that displays the files you just uploaded from your computer or selected from Case Documents. When satisfied, click Done.

You now have a high-level view of all your exhibits! You can click on the name of a newly created exhibit to make edits, click the download button to get a copy for your records, or
From Deposition Details
You can manage Exhibits from the Deposition Details page of any given Deposition. After selecting the Deposition you want to work on, click the Exhibits tab. Then, click Add Exhibit or click on Bulk Upload. Note: the steps for Bulk Upload are identical throughout the site. (See Bulk Upload Exhibits section above.)
If you click Add Exhibit, a pop-up window will ask you to either Create New Exhibit or Create from Existing Exhibit.
If you click Create New Exhibit, you’ll take the same steps as you’d take when creating an exhibit from a single document via the Case Details page (See From Case Details above).
If you click Create from Existing Exhibit, you’ll get a popup window that allows you to select an exhibit that’s not yet associated with the Deposition in question and add it. Simply search for the existing exhibit you’d like and click Create Exhibit.
From Outline Editor
After LX drafts your Deposition Outline and Questions, you can click on the document source link to create an exhibit from the linked document. Note: the source link may have a document already attached OR you may have to add a source document first before creating an exhibit from it.
After clicking on the link icon, you’ll see the source document pop-up window. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the linked document.
Then, click on Create Exhibit from the drop-down menu options.
Enter the requested information, including for which Deposition you’re creating the exhibit, and click Create Exhibit. Once processing is complete, be sure to click Save.
Your exhibits can be viewed, edited, or managed from any Exhibits tab throughout Deposely.
